✔ 150,000+ people in 87 communities across Brazil, Cameroon, Côte d’Ivoire, and Ghana now have improved water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) access Thirst Cycle.
✔ 50,000+ women have benefited from time-saving water access, skills training, and income-generating projects.
✔ In India, the initiative improved water security for 120 acres of land and helped 600+ women through training in sustainable farming and entrepreneurship.
Impact on Education and Livelihoods

In Cameroon, elementary school student Marguerite has seen first-hand the benefits of Cargill Currents. A new mechanized borehole at her school provides clean drinking water, allowing students to stay in class longer, improve their health, and miss fewer school days.
Beyond clean water, the initiative empowers women and communities through economic opportunities. In Cameroon, women engage in cassava flour production and soap-making, while in India, women farmers cultivate kitchen gardens to enhance food security.
